In terms of features, this edition of the game brings early access to DirectX 12, an updated weather system, and a dev mode reply system. Five new handcrafted aircraft, eight new airports, six new Discovery Flights are part of the package, and the game also incorporates all six World Updates.
Photogrammetry of cities of Helsinki, Freiburg im Breisgau, Brighton, Derby, Eastbourne, Newcastle, Nottingham, and Utrecht is also included in collaboration with Bing Maps.
The most notable update in this edition of the game, however, is the addition of new aircraft that you can fly. These are headlined by the Boeing F/A-18 Super Hornet, which is here due to public demand as the first military jet in the game.
In addition to the aircraft, there are eight new European and American airports for you to experience, as well as updated information on 545 American airports.
The game has three editions — Standard, Deluxe, and Premium Deluxe, and they are distinct in the number of aircrafts you have access to. They cost $59.99, $89.99, and $119.99 respectively, and are available wherever games are sold.
